Be the type of person you would want to meet!

Its not only about you, we all attract what we are! So, don’t be fully taken up because among your colleagues, X,Y and Z are actually not the kind of people you expected them to be, and don’t even be surprised when they turn out to be something else altogether. Because that’s the human race. You are therefore not even expected to blame them, because either way, all they do is unleash what they have inside of them. And you too are probably not even close to the kind of person they expected you to be.

A point to note here is that the fact that you have personal standards doesn’t mean that everyone will observe them the way you do. It doesn’t even mean that you should expect the same of everyone else around you. So, while you are at the journey of ensuring that you live to your standards, be the very person you would want to meet, at least for as long as you live. This way, you end up reflecting the character and virtues that you most admire in life. And like i said before,  you will exactly attract the same kind of people into your life.

And no-one is going to step over you for this! And you won’t have to go through the burden of wanting to change someone else according to your own perspective. Because you are already there yourself.

Be what you what, what you have always desired, and you will see just that! Life seems easier that way, because you won’t have to expect everyone to surface just the way you want them to be!

No stress!

There’s always enough to go round

Well thought of here! Nice piece Oloo!

Rotaract Club Of Kigali City

We just have to be selfless about it.

Doesn’t it seem too odd, that some people have more than enough, while others have much less than enough? For every child dying of hunger in South Sudan, Haiti, Somalia or any other hunger stricken area you know of, there are countless families that throw away excess food, because there’s not even a dog to give it to. How many times do we leave unfinished- yet expensive food- on the tables whenever we exit restaurants and high end hotels? According to the UN food and agricultural organization, as of 2010, 1 in every 7 people goes hungry on a regular basis, the cause of which is majorly linked with poverty.

Now, the same report says there’s enough food to go round, matter of fact agriculture the world over produces 17 percent more calories per person today than it did three decades ago…

Unanswered Questions in my mind.

Many a times I feel an influx of unanswered questions, questions that I may probably never get to find answers for.

I question the existence of fate, that something  undeserving will happen to me  and there will be no-one to justify its cause. The fact that even when I try so hard add up one and one, I never come up with a two, that things always take their way, no matter how much I try.

More often than note, I find that whenever I try to make two ends meet, someone moves the other end.

That despite everything else, even being too good will come along with its own fateful incidences. In such scenarios, more often than not, most of us tend to take the blame but this still doesn’t save the situation. But the good news is that I will not opt for this either.

Some answers will never be found. Lucky enough, even as things go that way, I keep telling myself that there’s always a way out. That even if I try and fail 70 times, I am the kind of person that will rise on my feet, increase my pace and say, here comes #71. Now that’s called ‘Never giving up’. and yes that’s what I am taking on today.

Even when things keep knocking me down, I believe in one thing. I am not going to give up. I can still fight to the end.

You can make it your style too, It can move mountains.
